Investigates how host metabolic conditions and metabolic host defenses (like albumin-bound free fatty acids) influence the immune system's ability to fight Mucorales

Provides state-of-the-art sequencing and RNA-seq analysis to monitor host-pathogen interactions and improve fungal genome annotations.

Collaborates on studies regarding fungal virulence factors and their interactions with host barrier cells using innovative assays.

Contributes to the investigation of fungal pathobiology and toxin-mediated immune evasion, and internal discussion and planning.

Collaborates on research involving immune dynamics and non-cellular immunotherapies.

Supports the identification and collection of clinical isolates and host samples.
